For a ship refurbished in 2016, the cruise line needs to take a better look at this ship. We noticed rotted wood around the floor drain in the pool area and the cover wasn’t even on it. Several public female restroom stalls were out of order for the entire cruise, and there was duct tape holding the flush button to the wall on a few other. On that note, the plumbing in different parts of the ship were out sporadically. We have been on the Dawn pre refurb and loved everything about the experience. Sadly, not this time. The food was less than stellar in many of the restaurants. Carney’s was great! Shows were good. As for the drink pkg, previous comments are correct—bottled water, specialty coffees are not included. We were able to get soda by the glass. This is all part of the Celebrity package. Our room was clean. Our stewards were all courteous, but not chatty like on other lines. Comparing the Dawn to the Epic — hands down cruise Epic. We’re still giving it a 3. It is what you make of it.
