I went with my sister and her friends(all seniors) and had a fun time. We made the best of this ship. It is very old and dirty. Some of the architecture is pretty and I was trying to focus on that. There are not enough public restrooms and the ones they have always flooded and were disgusting. The rooms for activities are so so and the entertainment staff I thought were a bit rude and just not fun. I have been on other ships where they were more personable. All of the staff was nice but many of them were new and didn't know much. We had upgraded to an aft penthouse balcony which I highly recommend. We had a great butler and concierge. If we didn't have that we would have floundered and probably never ate. The concierge handled all of our reservations for 14 people and was very accommodating. The main dining room had such long lines and long waits because if you had a regular room you couldn't make reservations. The food in the main dining rooms were adequate and had good service. The specialty restaurants were spectacular. Le Bistro, La Coccina and Cagney's Steak House. The food was so good and the service was excellent. The buffet was disgusting. Half the time you couldn't even tell what the food was and I would ask one of the workers and they didn't even know. The lines were long and it was the same food over and over. Outside by the pool, they had burgers and hot dogs. The burgers were just sitting in a metal server and tasted like leather.

The shows were very good. I highly recommend them.

I found it odd that the muster was in the main dining room and that is where we would go in an emergency. We didn't even know what # our life boat would be and in an emergency I am not going into an enclosed room.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SF

Excellent room. Clean. Not as large as I thought it would be. I thought we would be able to entertain in there and it was too small. There is a queen bed so it couldn't divide into 2 beds. There was a small sleeper sofa that pulled out that was very comfortable and the queen bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and the closet was huge.
