Ship is NOT a floating hotel like so many. Staterooms, beds, and bathrooms are exceptional. All inclusive is nice way to go. Food was wonderful. Ports of call were good.

Logistics to and from boarding and disembarkation was very smooth. We enjoyed the Myan ruins and the 12 meter sailboat cup racers for an upgraded shore excursion that was our most memorable outing. We enjoyed the fact and looked forward to a cruise that was primarily adult with no children and orientated to a more refined experience. This was our first cruise together after both having been previously married each with two children that now are all grown. Having been married now for 7 years we are already planning our next cruise with Viking for our 10th anniversary. Our Viking travel agent is great and helps coordinate with all the details, We have already decided Viking does such a super job with the inclusive excursions that we will avail ourselves more of the local fare available next time. Let me add that originally our flight schedule really looked kind of tough to coordinate with. We were estatic Viking booked us from a smaller airport than the large metro airport (one of the worlds most busy). Then they actually refashioned the flight times to be more accommodating without our intervention. Wow. Leave the coordination to them. Others on board spoke highly of Viking and most had established histories with them. What's not to like? In the end its all about the memories right? Life is grand with Viking lines!
