We have cruised on the Rotterdam five times. Entertainment was terrible and on several nights they just had a movie presentation. One comic juggler was bad. Another comic was great. Ship show presentation was two good and one terrible. Day time activities was limited to sales pitches of excisions, jewelry, shopping in port, and art sales. Spent most of our days in the cabin watching DVD's.
Almost all of the ports consisted of Duty Free Shopping stores specifically designed for cruise ships. Each port had a Diamonds International and similar stores. It all became one big been there, bought a ring. Or you could do a zip line.
Food has improved and actually tasted good. You needed a food dictionary to determine what some of the menu items were.
On the lower promenade deck which makes the cabin smaller because of the deck space. Two people could not be standing up together without bumping into each other.
A especially designed shopping mall. Jewelry and tee shirts.
Another duty free shopping mall designed for the cruise ships.
The place looks like downtown Las Vegas. Duty Free shopping and tee shirts. Glitzy signs all over. Shuttled to town spent an hour and returned to ship.
Duty free shopping and tee shirts. Tender in, walk around, returned to ship. Over priced.
