My husband and I set sail on our first Princess ship, the Royal Princess on March 10/18. First getting to the cruise ship and seeing the long lineup, I thought we would be forever in getting on the ship, I was wrong! In no time we were onboard and up to our room, the same applied for disembarkment, the fastest and easiest disembarkment we ever did, ( we have sailed with Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Carnival in the past) but neither was more calm and collected than the Princess, WTG Princess staff for a job well done! We loved our stateroom, had no issues. The food was absolutely amazing, except for the first evening we did our traditional evening meal at 5:30, I didn’t enjoy my meal at all, waited 20 minutes for my drink and the waiter came back to get my card 6 times, yes, 6 times because the machine didn’t seem to want to work, that was our first and last night in the dining room for our traditional 5:30 meal. That was my ONLY complaint! We decided after that to do anytime dining for the rest of the cruise and it was awesome! I would definitely go anytime dining on any other cruise we do. We met Rout, at the Princess Live Cafe Bar on deck 7, and what an amazing person he is! Such a love for the work he does and it shows in every drink he makes. He has a smile that lights up the whole room and makes delicious drinks and lattes! For anyone taking a cruise on this ship, get to know Rout and his amazing personality. Princess Cruise Lines, you should feel blessed to have such an amazing person working for you! We also met Mowen at this bar, another great person willing to go above and beyond to please, also Zivka, the supervisor, was awesome as well. We did the 10 day southern out of Fort Lauderdale and thought this was an amazing ship. The ports were also great. We met some great people on this ship, friends and memories we will have for a lifetime. We will definitely cruise with Princess again.
Always kept clean and tidy. Stateroom attendant was very kind and friendly.
