We were a group of 5 of family in friends ranging from 13 to 60. Lots of activities for each age range. We wanted to try the biggest ship i the world after having experienced Allure a few years back and it blew us away on every level. There were a number of small changes that were made that do make all the difference (call me fussy perhaps but in the past they were available and it made it feel extra special) Such as they no longer put chocolates on your pillow, room service for breakfast now has a charge if you want anything except continental. We used to enjoy our breakfast on the balcony especially on port days. Also no bottles of water in the room. They tend to shut down one side of the Windjammer making it really packed and even harder to find tables. We love musicals and entertainment. We found many of the shows really poor this time. Except for the Ice show and the diving show, they were amazing as was the Headliner ventriloquist..but Grease was awful. The positives, the food was really great. Dining room service excellent. Room and room attendant Arles amazing. The ports were great. Its a beautiful ship for sure and overall we had a fabulous time I'm just mentioning the items above as they were noticed and missed.

Fell short of our expectations

Cabin Review

Cabin 12706
Ok, im going to sound really whiny ..overall its an ok cabin but personally I like the bed next to the ocenveiw windows so I can watch the sea easy from my bed when I wake up. Bottles of water should be in each cabin for purchase also.
Othere than that a perfectly fine cabin

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Cozumel
Please note you must take a 45 minute Ferry ride to the mainland. The ferry this time was red flagged due to rocky seas. The majority of those on the ferry did have motion sickness and it was the ferry ride from hell!
Once on mainland it was a 20 minute ride to XCaret. Xcaret is a gorgeous activity park totally worth every minute you can spend there from going down the rivers, through the caves, or the beautiful white sandy beach or the loveliest butterfly displays ever...One day is not long enough to take it all in but gives you a taster...its gorgeous

Booked through Royal Caribbean. A fantastic day. The company Chukka were totally amazing, every single guide or assistant made the day the best ever day. The Jamaicans were friendly, fun. courteous, caring. We did the zipline, lunch and rafting and it was a beautiful day, well organized. Totally recommended. We had an age range of teenager up to a 60 year old and we all had a blast.
