For the most part this was a good value and fun cruise for myself and 2 younger boys. We did the carribean cruise 2 years ago on the Dawn and it didn’t seem to have the same exceptional service as before. Food was good not excellent and overall experience was on par of what we expected. For the most part the serving and cabin attendees were good but some I would characterize as not the happiest group. The old cliche of service with a smile was not exemplified. We purchased the unlimited internet package that would allow streaming on Netflix. It was not worth it because most of the time the video glitched and had to be restarted. Obviously it could not keep up with the demands during peak times so the technology is not there yet. We took one excursion to a tequila tour which was not a genuine distillery but a front to sell over priced no name tequila. Also shuttling you back and forth to specific tile, leather and silver shops. The experience was somewhat underwhelming. We also ran into some mechanical problems with ship and had to be rerouted our ports of call in the reverse. I thought the crew and staff did a good job communicating and making a bad situation seem less as they were able get to all the ports and arrive back in LA on time.

Pretty good time but could be better
