Friends of ours booked this cruise for us and we traveled with them. They have great taste in cruises because we had a great time. If you were bored or hungry it was not the fault of the ship or crew. Our stateroom was well maintained, our attendant always spoke to us and used our names. We had an ocean view balcony and had plenty of room. Warning, if you are addicted to the boob tube, there is nothing to watch on board, get out of the room and go see what's out there. If you have kids or really need tv, download something to watch before you leave on your trip. They do have good movies showing at different places and times, some for the kids, some for the adults, all good movies. Go and see the shows! The comedy show had us laughing, enjoyed the Karaoke contest, Grease was ok. The main dining room waiter made us feel at home every time we went to the American Icon Grill. The food was delicious however we are more simple people and enjoyed the Windjammer Marketplace for lunch, breakfast and deserts. Also the pizza on the promenade was a little taste of home just when we needed it. Johnny Rockets also had delicious Hamburgers and Fries. Get the drink package and don't worry about counting drinks or money. Best thing you can do if you drink at all. Remember this also includes juice, pop, coffee, tea and bottled water, not just alcohol. In Labadee we did the kayaking and the only thing I didn't like was stopping to "shop." It was more like being attacked by the locals to buy their products. I was very uncomfortable. We also did the zip line and THIS IS A MUST DO AGAIN! We loved it. We were so busy we didn't even eat. Jamaica was interesting to say the least. The Bob Marley experience is everything you would assume it to be, nuf said. My husband did the dune buggy excursion and they were so poorly maintained that he got his money back, no fun at all being stuck in the mud. He does not recommend that excursion. However, RCCL took care of it for him no problems or questions asked. Cozumel was amazing. We did the Regatta excursion and had the time of our lives! We highly recommend it and book it early it fills up quick. We also did some tequila tasting and shopping. Bought some awesome vanilla and delicious coffee tequila. They have an Escape room on board and it was good however it was not automated and the attendant had to "switch" things which made it a little frustrating, but fun.

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin FO

I was surprised at how much room we actually had in our Ocean Balcony room. The balcony was perfect for just relaxing and having morning shakes or watching the sun come up or go down. RCCL really knows how to manage small spaces so it doesn't feel small at all. The bed was not very comfortable and we should have asked for a pillow topper or two to try and make it better. That is our only complaint about the entire trip, that bed.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We just traveled into and out of Ft. Lauderdale. We stayed at the Ramada the night before not affiliated with RCCL in any way and honestly for a quick over night stay it was ok, would not do it for more than a one night stay. Strange place. Make sure you ask for both menues when you are eating in the dinning room. LOL. Also order two drinks at once or you may be dry waiting for the next one.
