Best vacation ever! From the moment we arrived at the dock in Amsterdam until we arrived at our destination hotel in Basle, Switzerland it was all about the experience and service. We did not do anything but relax. The ship/cabin was excellent, the food was top notch, and there was always something to do in the evenings. The staff, from the crew handling the docking and undocking and housekeeping right on up to the captain were friendly and always ready to help. Our activities director and the wait staff were attentive, entertaining and knew everyone's name within a day or two. The shore excursions were excellent, the tour guides knowledgeable and the transportation to and from the ship was great. This was our first cruise and it has spoiled us for any other cruise experience. In fact we had such a good time we have already booked another trip with Viking.
