Sail Date: Mar 2018
Cabin: Sunset Verandah

We had an aft cabin on Celebrity Reflection, deck 7. The room stewards hang out in the aft so we had great service and enjoyed chatting with them. When traveling north, the sun was overwhelming on our veranda. But it made for fabulous sail-aways.

The food on Celebrity was top-notch, as always. We ate once in the Tuscan Grille, once in Qsine and the rest in the main dining room. I highly recommend Qsine for a fun, leisurely dinner of tapas.

We stopped at Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia and St. Maarten. We were very pleased that Celebrity (and other lines) are back to stopping at St. Maarten. We were interested in seeing the hurricane damage and glad to be part of getting their tourism economy back up and running. We spent one night at St. Maarten - a first for us to overnight in a port. I highly recommend it as it gives more time to explore and takes the worry away from "making it back to the ship on time."

Cabin Review

Sunset Verandah

Cabin SV

Aft Cabin: makes for fabulous sail-aways! Traveling south the aft was wonderful for a wide view. Traveling north there was too much sun on the verandah for us - it was much too hot.

While not luxuriously spacious, there is enough room for the basics and for hanging out in the cabin if that's what you want. This room set-up has the dressing table near the bathroom and closet: great for me, going back and forth, but created a bottleneck for my husband whenever I sat at the dressing table. On previous cruises we've had the dressing table near the verandah making for easier traffic flow.

The aft of the ship is staggered so that we only see into another person's verandah at the outer edge. Privacy can be had by sitting under the "roof" of the balcony.
