Embarkation was fast and easy. I had to sit for about 45 minutes to wait for my husband who was dropping off the rental car. I watched people check in the entire time and there was rarely a line. The ship itself was ok. It seemed to need some updating. It is also huge, which I knew ahead of time, but it was a lot of walking. I also wish there was a way to have a smoke free area in the casino. I'd love it if smoking was kept to the outside of the ship. The food was average. Cagney's was very good. I'm surprised to say it, but the buffet had the best food on the ship. Loved the entertainment, it was all good! See my specifics for cabin review down below. Disembarkation was just as easy embarkation. We used a porter and breezed right through customs and outside. This is where the hassle began. We were in Port Canaveral and trying to get an Uber to take us a couple miles to the rental car place. We were also keeping an eye out for the Enterprise shuttle. In 1.5 hours it never showed up. Several Uber drivers accepted our fare, but canceled once they knew we were only traveling a short distance. It took forever to finally get a ride and it was not a great way to end our vacation.

I'm mostly writing this review to give people a heads up about the cabins in the 14062 area. I didn't realize when booking, but they are down a long and twisty set of hallways. It was SO inconvenient. It made going back to the room for anything a hassle. Overall I didn't love the Epic, too big for me personally. A lot of people complain about the bathroom set up, but my family of 5 found it worked well for us.
