There were so many frustrations on this cruise to the north Atlantic.

The itinerary was fantastic! The entertainment good. But, the food service was terrible with the waiters simply plopping down our plates and continued walking. Language was a problem. We, as Americans were frustrated by major announcements being made by people who didn't speak understandable English. A Norwegian lady came out of her cabin one day and said "They make the announcements in every language but Norwegian". We expected Norwegian food and congeniality and DID NOT GET IT! Where do they get Norwegian? I spoke to the captain about it and his smug reply was "None of the crew is Norwegian; even I am Swedish." Our steward was fantastic - friendly, efficient, and made our trip so much more pleasant, as did the young lady in charge of the day care, who were our "neighbors" on this long trip..
