After experiencing an excellent Viking River Boat cruise a few years ago, we were eager to sail on one of the new ocean voyage cruises. We were not disappointed. The ship, cabin, staff, food, etc. could not have been better. However, the staff entertainment crew was less than expected, other than the Viking Band, which was the highlight of each evening's entertainment.

Viking staff have gone out of their way to ensure the best service possible. All reasonable requests were met with a smile and willingness to oblige. We thoroughly appreciated the extras that were extended to all the guests, such as a glass of champange as we waited for table assignment for dinner among other thoughtful gestures.

Dismbarkation and boarding which is slow and cumbursome on other ships was efficiently smooth on Viking Sky. Read more
