We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary of cruising along the Atlantic coast of the U.S. Baltimore is easily reached from central Pa. (only a two hour drive). Embarkation was quick and easily the best of any cruise ship so far. The Grandeur is a small ship, and the stateroom reflect this. Smallest shower I have ever seen. But we didn't book this cruise for cabin. Price was perfect. Our first port was Charleston and took a city overview tour. Missed a few sights as it was St. Patrick's day and some streets were closed for parades. Excellent guide and beautiful weather (after all the snow at home). Next port was Orlando. Royal offered a great variety of tours. We chose the Space Center and loved it. Fantastic guide, great experience. Next was Miami, we did the Everglades airboat and had a ball. We did not get off the ship in the Bahamas. We also missed Coco Cay due to surf. But the ship still was entertaining enough we didn't mind.

Food was OK, menu in the main dining room did not offer the best options on some days. Quality was uneven.

The dancers on board were excellent. Vocalists were ok, but were given very strange arrangements to sing.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

Cabin was typical Large Ocean View. We usually get a balcony but couldn't pass up the price on this type of cabin. Smallest Shower in the world. Very clean and we had an excellent room steward. Mattress was definitely past it's prime.
