Getting on and off the ship was easy and quick as we are platinum, which helps. No issues that we saw anywhere. We love cruising out of New Orleans! We were in a porthole cabin, so at the very front of the ship! We saw high waves a few times due to the bad weather, but fairly smooth ride. Noisy when the anchor chain goes down, but time to be up and about, so not a big deal. The ship seemed to shudder towards the center of the ship when docking we noticed walking down the hallway. Decent cabin service, but as in recent cruises, steward trying to come into the cabin, knocking and opening the door at the same time. What's up with that? So many dining options! Will never understand how some reviewers complain about the food as there are so many choices! First ever cruise that we could not drink the iced tap water, the water or the ice had a bad taste! Coffee, lemonade, iced tea were ok to drink. Excellent Guy's Burgers, Pizza, sub sandwiches to die for until late. We didn't try the Mongolian Wok this time, but felt like we missed out. Love the freshly made omelettes on the Lido deck better than in the dining room, although we ate breakfast both places. Coffee, juice, and Eggs Benedict seem better in the dining room. We only snacked for lunch or mid-afternoon with a soft-serve ice cream or fresh fruit, so didn't really sample the buffet for lunch or the dining room. We always ate dinner in the dining room. Meals were excellent! Service a little hit and miss, but not so noticeable, except the last night. We always have coffee with our dessert, and the coffee didn't always get there. We were at a big table for 10. Loved the comedians, more so the ones at the beginning of the cruise. The shows in the theater are pretty awesome, but we've seen them all before on other cruises last year with a different cast. Worth seeing once or twice, but getting old after 4 times or more. We had 3 ports, but were rained out pretty much in Belize and Mahogany Bay, so we didn't even get off the ship. Ate, hung out in the hot tubs, and participated in some trivia games. We had a beautiful day in Cozumel, so wandered around the port on our own, picking up some local honey and vanilla. Recommend the Dream class ships for any cruise!
