I was disappointed in the quality of this cruise. I felt the dining experience to be sub par and the center stage entertainment to be not nearly as good as other cruise lines I’ve been on. Parts of the ship were very cold while other parts too warm. Several of the bars ran out of lite beer 3days before the end date of the cruise and there was an area on the second deck that had a horrible odor. Personally I would not travel with Holland America again. Maybe it was this particular ship that was the problem, but I wouldn’t be inclined to take a chance again. It’s an expensive trial and error way to travel.

The shore excursions were fun for the most part and going through the locks at the Panama Canal was extraordinary. However the cost for the drink package was way out of line....especially since both people in the cabin had to purchase the drink package in order for one person to get it. I don’t drink much at all and no way would I ever consume over $500 in drinks so my husband could not get the drink package either.
