I am glad I waited to write this review after cruising in December of 2017 on Carnival as it gave me a lot more perspective.

In November of 2016, I took my adult children and grandchild on our first cruise ever, so excited to be among the first to cruise on the Carnival Vista out of Miami.

Embarkation - long, long lines out the doors. Took about 3 hours to board.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View

Cabin 6M

4 of us in a low-cost oceanview cabin. It was good, small but enough space to move. 2 bathrooms - one with a shower, toilet, and sink, the other with a tiny bathtub and sink. Fairly quiet room, good AC/heat. Beds were comfortable. Our steward was excellent! Elevators took FOREVER!

Port Reviews

Miami

Hot and about 3 hours to embark.

Ocho Rios

Water was dirty, couldn't get a beach chair. Way too many people trying to sell us stuff.

Nassau

Too many people trying to sell stuff....overwhelming.
