Having cruised with Carnival before, I had high hopes for this New Years cruise on the Liberty. We were glad to see that we would be cruising the Eastern Caribbean and not the Western. I will break down different topics of this great cruise below:

Cabin: Upper deck, inside cabin. We LOVED the location of our cabin. Was a little worried about the cabin being next to elevators and above the casino, but we heard very little from anything below us. It seemed that the slot machines were on a lower noise level than the slots in Vegas. The ringing was not loud at all. Cabin itself was great. Plenty of space for two people. Our cabin steward was also great and making up the cabin twice a day.

Food: WOW!!! We did not have a bad meal on Liberty. We ate in the dining room every night except for the night that we went to Harry's Steakhouse. We were placed at a table for two in the Silver Dining Room. Our waiters were great and quite entertaining. You must try the chocolate melting cake for desert. It was fantastic. Harry's Steakhouse was a nice experience. It is $30 per person and the dress is elegant. The steaks are to die for. Very large cuts of meat and both of our steak were cooked to perfection. Great service here also. The lido deck buffet is where we ate all breakfasts and lunches. Buffet lines moved quickly and food was top quality. Ate at the deli many times, but never tried the burrito bar. Always a LONG line for the burrito bar. Lots of seating upstairs and downstairs.
