Have cruised previously, but not as extensively as others. Have traveled on various ships but this was our first Princess. We were pleasantly surprised and totally satisfied with everything. The ship may not be the newest of the fleet but offered everything one would need. Our cabin was the best lay-out of any we have had on other ships. Bathroom, clothes closet and mirror were separated from the "living area" which was convenient. We had a balcony cabin C405 . The balcony was the largest in comparison to others - with lounge type chairs, large table and foot rests. Our cabin steward, Danny was excellent and spoke very good English. We chose "any time" dining as not to be regimented into when we had to eat. The longest wait time with a buzzer was approx 1/2 hr. but were usually called in 5 - 10 minutes. We were satisfied with the food and service provided by the dining staff. Entertainment and shows were excellent. Cruise Director, Miranda was excellent and easy to understand - and fun! This being a 14 day cruise, every evening was fresh and after viewing a couple entertainers the first time, we were anxious to attend their second performance later on the trip. Many activities overlapped so it was impossible to be everywhere, so we just chose where we wanted to be. The Ports were great, although we did not go on the ship shore excursions and chose to wander about or hire a private guide (which is discouraged, in the event they do not get you back in time to sail away). All in all, we enjoyed the whole experience and will probably book Princess again in the future.
