We chose this cruise primarily for the destinations. Due to recommendations from colleges, we chose Royal Caribbean over Carnival who offered a similar itinerary.

Boarding the ship:

I felt the process was very smooth and much quicker than I expected. The staff were helpful and nice. We checked 3 bags and carried on 2 backpacks. Two of the 3 bags were delivered to our room within 2-3 hours. The 3rd bag arrived 5-6 hours after our first two, which left us stressed and constantly making trips back to our room to see if it arrived. Perhaps this is just first time cruiser stress, but it somewhat impacted the experience of our first day aboard.

Cabin Q

As a first-timer, it was actually bigger than I expected. It was very clean. The room attendant was very nice and very good at what she did. We were impressed. One night and morning, we did not have hot water, which made for an uncomfortable shower. Only other complaint was lack of outlets (specifically disappointed there were none in bathroom), but that might just be an all cruise-line thing.
