The onboarding experience in Miami was stressful and tedious. I had flown in on a red eye from San Francisco and arrived early. There was nothing to eat (some fruit, juice and muffins would have been appreciated.) Apparently this was a new facility and perhaps not yet fully operational; the staff also seemed confused.
While I understand that there is a short turn-around time for the ship, and the necessity for holding passengers prior to boarding, there's plenty of room for improvement.
I did not enjoy the Merida shore excursion, hitched a ride back on a different bus and wished I'd skipped it. The buses were substandard, the guides unprofessional (one called me 'honey') and the traffic was impossible.
Excellent - spacious and I like the fact that all cabins have a balcony
