Normandy (and Paris) have been on our must see list for some time. This presented the perfect opportunity to check off one more on the bucket list. Some free time in Paris and a day trip to Normandy were exactly what we was needed, although I must say, more time is needed to explore the museums and sites of the Normandy beaches. The overall cruise was wonderful with excellent service and delicious on board meals. Alexie, our primary waiter, was extremely efficient and very entertaining! The Viking Rolf was well appointed and very comfortable. Our French Balcony state room served us well and had everything needed for a comfortable night's rest. This particular river cruise did not showcase a great amount of river cruising, which was fine. We therefore had more time in various ports that provided the opportunity for additional local exploration, as well as some very enlightening shore excursions. Highly recommend!

Cabin Review

All good. Not overly spacious, but we knew that would be the case. Very comfortable.
