My wife and I have been on 4 Viking River cruises and 1 ocean cruise to Alaska. We really enjoyed the River cruises and wanted to try a Viking Ocean Cruise, since we heard the Viking Sky ws very new and had only 950 passengers. The Viking Sky is beautiful and luxurious. The food generally was excellent except for buffet which was very average. The Chef's Table was outstanding except for difficulty making reservations. We really enjoyed the 5 course tasting menus. The Italian restaurant was very good also. The Spa was great and enjoyed the sauna and ice room, and the fitness facility was very good. It was nice sitting around the pool and walking around the ship. Entertainment was generally very good. The cabin was very nice. Overall the cruise was very enjoyable. We liked the excursions except for having to take a small boat to get to shore. Disembarcation was easy.
