We had been wanting to do a Mediterranean cruise and this Itinerary came available on short notice. (We don't like planning 18 months ahead to take a cruise) We have travelled before with Viking and knew the level of excellence to expect.
The food choices were wonderful. Lots of seafood. Also several specialty eating places.
We were in a port everyday which did not allow us to enjoy all the amenities on the ship. There were port excursions from free to several hundred dollars. Be sure to review all the excursion info and sign up before you get on the ship. The popular ones fill up fast. If the excursion you want is full, be sure to wait list it. There were so many choices it was hard to pick just one each day. Two days in Barcelona is not enough time to see all the major sites. In Malaga, Spain be sure to visit Nerja to see the "Balcony of Europe".
Outstanding! The suite was 405 sq.feet. You can pull the blackout drape between the living room and bedroom so one person can sleep and the other can read or watch TV. The bathroom has two sinks, a heated floor and heated towel racks. The room was so nice and large it made it fun to have room service.
