Chose it for the Scandinavian influence, and the architecture. Were so happy with the architecture, the spa, the therapy pool, snow room, art. Were disappointed in the embarkation, mainly the lack of information about what was going to happen. The meals/food were wonderful. The service was outstanding. However, there was no explanation for to telling us the next steps for embarkation ahead of time; and being sent to a second waiting area. There were pastries served, but were exhausted an. overly ready for lunch. Our cabin gentleman was outstanding. The lecture persons, especially the one who gave stories about White House history, were excellent. The social director made many, many comments about dole who were aging, and expressed surprise that we were present and not napping. That is, in simple terms, inaccurate and very rude. He should be coached to drop that and focus on the strengths that we have.
