Voyager of the seas needs a major refurbishment. The carpet in our junior suite was coming up, the shower curtain was dirty and the outside of the ship shows rust in many places. There was a strange smell in the elevators almost every day. Perhaps it was a strong cleaning solution, but it was not a fresh smell. The food, service and entertainment were good. The LaScala theater was too cold. I needed a coat and a sweater every night, and one show I had to leave, because it was too cold. Why Royal Caribbean wastes energy by over air conditioning the ship, makes no sense. Shore excursions were overpriced, but good. We especially liked the Bridges of Eden on Vanuatu. We did not enjoy Fiji traditions and vanilla house at Lautoka, Fiji. The guide’s English was difficult to understand and we really didn’t see much. Overall, I would sail on this cruise again.
