We wanted a cruise to Mexico that sailed from a central port for our extended family. The cabins are smaller than comparable cruise lines.

The ship is 18 years old, but the bigger issues were the public restrooms were out of order, unclean, lacking supplies.

The disembarkation process was the most unorganized process I have ever witnessed. They allowed all the Walk-offs (Those who carried their own luggage) off first. They assigned those who checked their luggage a time slot. We had prepaid for transportation to/from the airport to the ship at a rate of $25 per person. Those who did not prepay were charged $20 per person. When it came time to disembark, we were supposed to be off the ship by 0900 (Their Schedule). At 1000 we got in line and finally got off the ship by 1100. This was absolutely the worst organized process I have ever seen. If you asked when you would get off, they would only tell you when they call your color. My father got tired of waiting as we had a flight to catch. He was in a wheel chair being pushed by a porter when the ship turned him around. My mother was also in a wheel chair being pushed by a porter and they let her off the ship. This alone is reason enough I will never sail again on Norwegian and I recommend that you dont either. Read more
