Cabin: Family Balcony Stateroom

We planned this trip only a few weeks in advance. It was my husband and me, plus our three teenagers. Only my husband and youngest child had cruised on Norweigan before, so this was new for most of us!

Arrived at our embarkation time and all went smoothly. We carried our luggage on and snuck back to leave it in the cabin with no issues.

Our cabins were great (side by side balconies on deck 9). Quiet location, easy to get to everything. This deck is directly over the lifeboats, which means you can't stand at the rail and look directly down to the water but that really never bothered me -- I was always looking off into the distance anyway!! Cabins were clean and well-appointed. We preferred 9854, which had the bed closer to the balcony vs 9852, which had the beds closer to the door -- it just seemed like a better layout and did not restrict access to the closet. Our steward seemed nice enough but made no effort to introduce himself.

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B4

Loved this mid-ship cabin with the bed(s) closer to the balcony. Quiet but super easy to get to everything!
