Sail Date: Jan 2018

My wife and I flew from London Gatwick to Barbados in January 2018 to join the Marella Discovery cruise ship for a two week back to back cruise in the Caribbean. Overall it was a good cruise but as usual nothing is perfect.

The flights.

We flew both ways on the Dreamliner and it didn’t really live up to its name. Its at least as noisy as the A380 and not as comfortable. The TUI system of seat allocation caused a few people problems as they refused to pay the extra and some couples sat far apart for both flights. We paid the £68 only because it was a long flight.
