This was my very first cruise and it did not disappoint. I loved the crew on board, the shore excursions, the ship itself, the entertainment, the food, etc.

We ate in the buffet-style restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and then in the main dining room for dinner every night. We chose Your Time Dining, and had to wait for a table for maybe fifteen minutes maximum one night. On the other nights, however, there really wasn't a wait at all. The food was delicious and there were many options on the menu each night, including certain meals specific to the ports and cultures we had visited that day. Side note: I highly recommend the Carnival Melting Chocolate Cake, which we made sure to have every single night. It is easily the best dessert ever and SO delicious! Each night, the dining staff put on a performance and line danced/sang in the dining room, which was so fun to watch. They were always very quick with the food and offered pleasant/friendly service.

In terms of entertainment, we had Orlando and Deon for cruise directors. Both guys were extremely friendly, upbeat, high energy, and outgoing. We went to the Hasbro Game Show, karaoke, the 18+ scavenger hunt, a trivia game in the atrium, and two comedy shows, just to name a few -- all of which were great experiences. There were multiple opportunities offered for most of the events, so it wasn't like we had to plan our entire schedules around a certain event we wanted to participate in.
