The itinerary is port heavy but that is expected with a Southern Caribbean cruise. The islands are beautiful and well worth a visit or two, maybe three! The ship itself is an ideal size for my family, two adults, two teens. With the slides, flow rider, sports centre, shows, ice rink and a few other things, there is plenty to keep the teens busy. I would have liked to see some more organization from the teen club staff. I know teens are not always on board with participating but if the staff showed more interest, the teens might too. My two have always spent a large majority of the cruise while on ship in the kids/teens club or participating with the groups wherever they are. This cruise they barely went. A couple times they did, the event was not what was listed on the cruise compass. As for the adults, our two moans were the variety of food on the MDR menu. Please change up the appetizers every evening. The other was the trivia. We usually go to the trivia games as we participate and they are good for a laugh. Every trivia on the cruise was in the Schooner Bar and it was beyond packed. Not nearly enough seating and some of the seats are along a wall out of view from the rest of the crowd. Why not hold it in a larger venue? The headliner, Jeff Tracta was hilarious and El Gaucho was also enjoyed by all of us.
Newly updated cabin and who doesn’t love a balcony? Good storage spaces in this cabin. Bed was pretty decent. It is the very last cabin on right side of the ship so it is a bit of a haul if you have to “just run” back to the cabin. Our teens were in the connecting inside stateroom which is 9681. Nice combination of cabins if you don’t want to pay for two balconies. It was spacious and updated as well.
