This is our sixth cruise on-board the Celebration, the first being 10 years ago. Yes we will agree that the ship is getting a little old, however, the refurbishments to the ship, made over the period we have enjoyed here, are significant and have made a huge improvement to our enjoyment. Let's go from the start. Our luggage was taken from us at Manchester Airport, and the next we saw of it was in the cabin. (The same applied to our return journey) The transfer from plane to the ship, was effortless. The greeting and issue of the 'on board' cards was simple and quick. Once onboard, the staff were as friendly as always. The cabin (Deck 6 Outside Plus) was very large, very clean and well equipped.

The food, especially in the main Dining Room, The Meridian, was nothing short of first class, great variety, great service, if variations were requested, they were always delivered. The food in the Lido self service dining area, has been greatly improved. The food is fresh, hot and beautifully presented.

The entertainment staff were some of the best we have had. The 'show team' had fantastic harmonies together and produced a fantastically entertaining evening every night. (Congratulations' to them all) Read more
