Cruising to Tasmania, we were looking forward to seeing Hobart and Port Arthur for the first time. We have cruised on Sapphire Princess before so were looking forward to the diamond princess living up to a similar standard. We were not let down. The fellow passengers were a bit older but that was made up for by their interesting stories. We may have been lucky but had smooth seas the whole trip and excellent weather which complemented the beautiful Port Arthur and Hobart excursions.

The only negative was the firm beds but this was made up for by the attentive service we received from all staff on board.

This was a better than expected cruise when we were really just looking forward to a break and being pampered, got both in spades.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin B2

Cabin was comfortable with a good quality tv although the bed was too firm for our liking. The balcony overlooks the balconies on 2 levels below which wasn’t great and appeared to be smaller than those below.
