We chose to return to the Caribbean again to escape some of the winter, and having had enjoyable cruises with Thomson Ships in the past chose to go on Discovery. We are getting older now and not so able bodied. My husband has a mobility scooter which we took with us for the first time. Everyone was amazing. As soon as we landed in Barbados after a wonderful flight and great service on board Dreamliner, we were met by a taxi and taken to the Ship. Our cabin on deck six was midships and perfect for lifts etc. We ate all breakfasts and most dinners in 47. The waiters loved parking the "Ferrari" as they called it usually doing a lap of the restaurant first. We ate in Surf and Turf and Kora la which were good. The Italian was also enjoyable and made a change occasionally. We didn't do much ashore as we had been to most islands before, but did do the catamaran trip in Antigua which was great. The Ship was immaculate. We were well informed by the Captain regarding weather and sea conditions and have no complaints about service, food, or crew who were all friendly and welcoming.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

The cabin was midships and perfect for lift, close to Coffee Port, (who did amazing banana splits). The bed was very comfortable and the balcony a reasonable size and very private.
