We have been on 10 cruises with MSC to date, most of them on the Sinfonia. I am a gold card member and my wife is silver. I'm on the threshold of becoming a black member. Because MSC only offer longer cruises over December (which is what we enjoy but can't get away at that time), we had to choose to do back-to-back cruises to give us 7 nights away.
1. By choosing this option we obviously spend substantial time in port and not cruising.
2. We have no choice of destination but are forced to travel the same route with little variance both times.

1. Comfortable but old carpets.
2. Terrible showers with curtains.
