Sapphire Princess

Having done 2 cruises basically back to back, with the first cruise being Royal Caribbean, I think the RCI cruise just noses out the Princess cruise for overall satisfaction. But that said, once we found the friendliest crew, we kept going back to their areas (bars, restaurants etc) as some crew did their job, and did it well, but I just didn’t get the feeling that they were 100% happy in their jobs. Our stateroom attendant was fabulous and helped us enormously, fabulous man who made the trip all the more memorable. Wouldn’t both with the shore excursion into BK again, spending around 4 hours sitting in a coach getting there an back just wan’t worth what we got out of the tour. Loved Ho Chi Minh, brilliant place and would happily go back there.

Food onboard was for the most part very good, but sadly my last meal on the last night left an awful lot to be desired which is a shame (would have preferred it to be first meal so that it wasn’t the enduring memory of my trip. Whilst the crab shack was fun as a one-off, I wouldn’t participate again. Entertainment was excellent, especially loved Chris Watkins - what a performer!

Loved the onboard Princess@sea app - very easy to use and kept us up to date with what was happening onboard and how much we were spending!

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite with Balcony

Cabin was very good, liked the little extras (complimentary mini bar, champagne and fruit on arrival, canapés in the afternoon etc.).
