We took advantage of an offer for half price on our next cruise, due to a mishap with Carnival Splendor in 2017. Fortunately, we got the same type of stateroom that we had on Splendor, corner on the aft, L-shape balcony.
We had stateroom 7440, nice, clean room and best of all the balcony! The balcony was so spacious, 2 loungers, 3 chairs and 2 tables. We had a great steward, Conrad. He made us feel special and welcomed. He made sure we had everything we needed. He was out one day due to an injury and we noticed. Although the room was clean and comfortable, we noticed that Conrad wasn't there!
We went to most of the musical shows and they were awesome! Great themes, singers, and light shows. Each day was a different show. Motown was awesome, enjoyed the Caribbean show and the Latin show was fantastic. Justin the Cruise Director was so funny and entertained everyone. We enjoyed the Military Tribute presented by Justin and the fact that Carnival supports our active and retired military personnel.
Cabin Review
Aft-View Extended Balcony
The cabin is bigger than the standard balcony cabin. It was clean and well maintained, except for one thing. The inside balcony door handle broke off one day and then then the next day the outside balcony door handle spun around. Fortunately I was in the room when my wife was outside with the broken handle. Each day the maintenance staff came within 10 minutes and fixed the handles. This balcony is so nice and it offers shade on the portion that is on the side of the ship. As I noted before, Conrad our steward was fantastic!
