We chose the cruise based on itinerary as we had been to USVI area and wanted to check out Aruba and some other different islands. Mainly, we wanted to enjoy summer weather.
We were tripped up in the Northeast storm that hit 3/2 and 3/3. Our flight to Philadelphia was cancelled and there were no available flights to get us to Puerto Rico before it left on Saturday. American Airlines did allow us to change our flight to Curacao on Sunday so we could meet the ship in the first port, no extra charge. We did end up spending a lot of money on taxis because when we got to the ship we were told we had to go to customs (via another taxi ride) and get an Exit Visa since we officially entered the country. Every time you step into a taxi it is $20 regardless of how far.
We finally boarded the ship and had a lovely balcony room (never again in an interior) which happened to be on the side overlooking each port which was handy to survey the island. The service was always excellent, our attendant was friendly. The host was very good.
Good amount of room. Balcony wasn't large but fit two chairs and small table.
