Despite what it says, this was a two day cruise from Brisbane to Sydney. We chose this cruise to test what Princess was like after a less than favourable cruise on P&O last year.

I can now say that Princess leaves them far behind even though they are both owned by the same company. The big difference is food. Princess retains the traditional buffet in which there was plenty of variety and mostly good quality. Sea Princess also has free pizza which for some inane reason P&O does not. Good quality pizza it is.

We had a quad room for 4 adults. It was cosy but only for two nights. We found that the ship seemed to have more motion than others we have been on (Dawn & Solstice). Although the seas were almost calm there was some noticeable shuddering and swaying.

Balcony

Cabin BY

On the smallish side for 4 adults but 2 adults and 2 kids would be comfortable in here for a week or so. A handy balcony and the rear deck of Deck 11 is only about 10 metres from your door. There is a large seating area out there. It's handy to the restaurant but at the opposite end of the ship to the buffet.
