I would like to say up front that this was our first Oceania experience and after our time on the Riviera we have no intention of cruising on any other line. We are a couple in our early sixties and this was our tenth cruise. We have sailed with three other cruise lines. This has been the best cruise ever! Did we gain weight? Well...yes. Did we have an amazing experience? Oh Yeah! Would we recommend this ship to other people? Hmmm...not sure right now. You see, my strategy is to kind of downplay the gastronomically delightful, luxurious, soul restoring sophistication of this vessel. I really don't want the knowledge about the cruise industry's best kept secret getting too far out there. I want to calmly be able to book future cruises without the stomach clenching realization that our coveted cruise is SOLD OUT! After all, I understand that Oceania doesn’t have any plans to build any more vessels!!? I don't even know why I'm writing this review. I should stop right now!
