Traveled with children

We are a family of five that traveled on the holiday cruise from December 19-26 and had a great time on the ship. We love to travel- our 2 kids are 20 and 14. Last year was a cruise on the Disney Wonder, this year the Carnival Dream.

The embarkation process was easy and fast, we arrived at 11am and by 11:30am we were on board. The buffet was crowded but not unbearable, the buffet had a variety of food and very tasty.

At 1:30pm our room was ready. My husband and I were in a spa balcony room on deck 12- our 2 kids and mother were next door also in a spa balcony cabin. Both cabins on the spa deck were amazing, nice size, well worth the money. The beds were so soft and cozy. With the spa room came a few spa perks, so we spent a lot of time there and our 14 year old son loved the gym. The spa deck has only 20 rooms so the deck was peaceful, the rooms came with robes and slippers that we wore from our room to the spa "very convenient."

Cabin Review

Cabin SPA

The spa balcony cabin was a nice size. The closet was roomy and so was the balcony. The bathroom was nice. The spa deck was peacful.
