On the day of the cruise I took an Uber from my airport hotel to the port for approximately 18 dollars. Although I had planned to Uber back after the cruise to the airport, surge pricing was at $45 so I took a shuttle instead for $8 dollars a person. I would recommend you look for the shuttles to save money. Also parking in the area at some lots was $50 so beware if you park in the area.
Upon arrival at the port, you are greeted by workers wanting to take your bags. They will lie to you and say you must check them when actually you don't. You can actually carry your luggage on the ship. As has been my experience after my first cruise,, you don't really need to pack that many bags and should be able to walk on with a suitcase and back pack each person.
The check in process requires you to be lined up outside for a little bit before entering the small building. Be prepared for an hour wait and the elements outside if its hot or raining.
After being on several ships, maybe I am just use to the size of the room but this one never made me feel cramped. It had plenty of storage areas for my items. My only complaint is that their is only one outlet for your electronics so bring a power strip or you can borrow one from guest services. Its also not near your bed so you have to get up to use electronics that are plugged in on the counter.

After cruise, take shuttle to airport or hotel for $8 a person. Uber surges and the rates are ridiculous. Also parking in the area is like $50
