This was my fifth time on the Pride. We have been cruising with Carnival for a long time (Platinum) and this was close to our worst trip. To start with that North Easter battered the ship very hard. We basically lost a whole day (Sunday). We understand weather is a big part of cruising and we have to be understanding. We should have been given some kind of discount for the lost time. We lost about 8 hours of time on the first day alone. The ship was very late getting back to Baltimore. Our port stops were also changed due to the delay. The captain also had to go much faster which made any time laying by the pool impossible for the first two sea days. Basically the sea days were a bust. The main reason we cruise by the way. (They also switched to DST a day early just adding to our lost time).

Nassau was our first port and the weather was nice. We did enjoy the day. The second day was princess Cay. The weather was horrible. We all wondered why we did not just stay the extra day in Nassau were the weather was fine. The seas and wind were very high making the Tender rides to and from the ship a real roller coaster ride. Most if all activities were cancelled well in advance to arriving because the surf was too high. We should have just stayed in Nassau.

As usual the staff was great. Our waiters, cabin stewards, and entertainment / cruise director were top notch (Why we keep coming back).

The room smelled like piss. The bed (king) kept separating on the middle.
