We live close to Port Canaveral so these cruises are very nearby. Getting on was very very easy and getting off was just as easy. The ship is old but was recently renovated. However, our friends with us had problems with the plumbing which they did get fixed. The cabins are very small but for 4 nights it was tolerable. Dining was as expected. Food was good but not exceptional - didn't always come out hot. The coffee in the Windjammer in the morning was cold and as usual, not very good. I always bring flavored creamers so it doesn't taste so strong. It was a very short cruise - didn't go to the shows as the timing was inconvenient. The service by all was very good. We had many spring breakers on board who were the most pleasant and polite young people we have ever encountered. I commend their parents for raising them so well. They held doors open for us (the oldsters) and always had pleasant things to say. I was concerned when we got on the ship with so many college students but would definitely do it again with this group. They were more pleasant than most of the "older" higher ranked guests. Think we will wait until the Mariner, which is my favorite ship, comes to this port to do another short cruise. The ports are the same as usual but they had a problem with the main pool so the captain was able to have us go into Freeport, Bahamas, as an extra stop to make up for it.

Overall, besides the windy weather and rocking ship, it was a very good cruise. Next stop is RC Navigator out of Miami to southern Caribbean but we will definitely go back to Port Canaveral for another one, on the Harmony next year.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin SO

Very small and typical but clean and updated. Not bad for not being a balcony.
