We selected Carnival as we wanted a fun, family friendly vacation with our two sons (age 15 & 20). We were very happy with the ship, our stateroom (small but manageable and amazingly comfortable beds!), the entertainment, and the wide variety of food options. The staff were so friendly - Orlando the cruise director was hilarious and our room attendant Shawn always had some clever quip for our teenage sons and was a pleasure to chat with.

We missed out on the Cays as we could not tender safely but our other ports (Nassau and Grand Turk) were fantastic and we loved our excursions (two-reef snorkel/tour and Open Air Jeep island excursion). When we had an unexpected "at sea" day the staff worked hard to put together a fun day with extra activities so although we were disappointed to miss out on the beach day we still had a lot of fun and it did not negatively impact the cruise.

I was really impressed with the food - so fresh, lots of variety, and the dining room dinner was a special experience each evening. Guy's burgers and the sushi were highlights. Our oldest loved having "second lunch" and "second supper" on many occasions! Haha! Oh to be a teenager!
