  • Destination: the Southern Caribbean
  • Cabin Type: Panoramic Oceanview Stateroom

Chose this to fit in with a ptior stay in Grand Cayman.

Miami airport so much improved in last 10 years..almost a pleasure.

Embarkation was much better than ladt time on RC, and this was a bigger ship.

Cabin ready by 1330 which is fine..luggage arrived about Boat drill time.

Our cabin steward was an absolute delight and made our holiday!

Sadly RC have moved him to the Med on their new ship.

The band were brilliant , their jazz and big band concerts were amazing.

Food was usual standard..lobster tails a bit small so had two! No probs.

Service in the evening was very variable..personnel wise excellent friendly eyc., but sometimes it took 45 for 1st course, another..15 mins..My only niggle of the whole cruise.

Loads of loungers on decks..so much better that Serenade where there were never enough.

Also, this ship did not seem to be so ‘loud’ except right next to the pool. Much quieter around the plave.

All bar staff were great..espresso bar on 5th on the street were fine but whereas bar staff in 4 bars knew what we wanted when they saw us..coffee team not so, and not so friendly, though attentive and certainly not rude.

Cabin Review

Panoramic Oceanview Stateroom
Cabin P2 1816

.Not big, but as expectedchose this as balconies had all gone.

Would certainly chose one of these 12th deck panoramic ones at the front if same scenario occurred.

Loads of shelves, storage drawers etc. We do not travel light but couldnt fill all of them!

TV worked OK though only watched a macth one day.
