As experienced cruisers, we were looking for (disappearing) customer service. We were pleasantly surprised to find it alive and in practice on Celebrity from embarkation to disembarkation. We felt welcomed and valued. Throughout the 11 day journey we were greeted daily with smiles, "Good mornings", and "Have a good evening".
Awesome itinerary of ABC Islands, historic Cartagena Columbia, and George Town Grand Cayman. We purchased Celebrity shore excursions and we're not disappointed in the tour content. We were especially intrigued with growing industry on the tiny island of Bonaire.
The beautiful main dining room Opus served wonderful meals morning, noon, and night. The 2-story stainless steel and glass wine storage fit right in with the champagne bubble lighting overhead.
Cabin Review
Concierge Class 2
This cabin location is starboard, quiet, with a short walk to elevators/stairs.
Celebrity has used all available space for storage, important for long itineraries. Cabinets over bed provided welcome storage. We were able to fit 4 large suitcases under bed. There were 3 deep drawers in cabinetry, and one drawer in vanity for paperwork, etc. There was room on top of safe for belts and bowties. One long set of shelving in the bathroom, and 2 small drawers under the sink. Bathroom door had 2 pegs.
We took heavy duty wall magnets with hooks to accommodate hats, bags, binocs, and even bathroom hand mirror.
Sofa was well worn. Foot stools and reclining chairs on balcony were appreciated.
Concierge level welcome onboard daily snacks, and personalized attention to details were nice. We had chocolates on our pillows with nightly turn down. Cabin Steward Borche was personable and attentive to our wishes.
