Adventure of the Seas Cruise Review by CherylConner
- Sail Date: March 2018
- Destination: Southern Caribbean
My Time dining with Artan and Dinah as attendants was exceptional every night. They catered to us so beautifully and were always on top of every thing and thoroughly delightful.
Frank, our room attendant in 9504 (a wonderful cabin with incredible view, btw), was so warm and friendly. He treated us to very well crafted towel art and was amazing in cleaning up after us as we adventured out and providing any and every thing we desired.
Dani, the assistant cruise director, was really wonderful. Loved his Zumba classes and his personality was so enthusiastic and charming. At first, not so thrilled with Mercedes, the cruise director, and she was okay, but certainly not as charming as Dani. The game shows, production shows, and comedy were really well done. Music all over was fantastic and even though we lost in the casino, had fun there too.
Bar staff was over-worked, so hard to criticize, but considering sheer number of people, did a good job keeping beverages flowing. All venues were comfortable and organized, ship amenities are so numerous and well cared for.
A wonderful adventure happened again and I believe my family is now as bitten by the cruise bug as I am. Speaking of...NO mosquitoes the whole week! It was a memorable and fantastic experience overall

CuracaoRuthson was an amazing guide of Willemstad. Brought us across the swinging bridge, all around historic Willemstad, Maritime Museum, Fort, Synagogue, etc. Very informative and pleasant, lots of great stories and knowledge of Willemstad.View All 13,319 Curacao Cruise Port Reviews

SnorkelingMy husband did a snorkeling trip and was disappointed no flippers were offered, just bottled water and chips as a snack, but enjoyed the snorkeling site.View All 43 Snorkeling Reviews
BeachSt. Maarten was devastated by Irma, and we were warned the day before by another passenger that the snorkeling trip we had signed up for would not be worth the price due to ongoing devastation. We were unable to cancel due to less than 36 hours notice, but Royal staff hooked us up with a great Beach Break and Vilma the guide was great. Nice lunch and beach...locals were incessant in trying to sell their wares, but given the amount of devastation they incurred, understandable they were looking for opportunities to make some money.View All 237 Beach Reviews
