Wanted to try Silversea, per request by travel agent, instead of Regent or Seabourn, which we have sailed on, many times. The trip started off poorly after they had just put in new wi-fi system, which everyone was having a lot of trouble with. Went, at least, 10 to the reception to get it fixed. Food was average, but service was not good. finally complained, so much, that the director of guest relations requested a meeting. We met, and things changed, dramatically. Service became great. The other part of the trip which was not good, and this was not Silversea's fault, but the excursions. The damage from the hurricanes on the island was extensive, and reflected in the stops and the touring. It basically was 3-4 hours of travel on a bus which just went around the islands and showed the damage over and over again. The ports of call, one would not go into and enjoy. Butler service and maid service was outstanding.
Smaller than on previous cruises. Shower was tough to get in, especially with my handicapped wife. Not much place to put things.
