Sail Date: Feb 2018
Cabin: Deluxe Obstructed Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Embarkation was a bit of a shamozzle and took a good deal longer than it ought to have - about 1 hour 30 minutes from arrival at the port to on the vessel.

Cabin, obstructed balcony on level 6, was very well appointed with tonnes of cupboard space and a good bathroom. Cabin design is one of the best we have seen.

Issues with this particular cabin (6690) are the heavily obstructed view (over a lifeboat) and the smoke drifting in from the smoking are on level 5 just below. Would not recommend this cabin.

Port Reviews

Dunedin

Hired a car ourselves and toured the Otago Peninsula. Beautiful part of the world. Olverston House is worth a visit.

Picton

Hired a rental vehicle and drove to the wineries near Blenhiem. Lunch at the Giesen Winery was a highlight.

Napier

It was Sunday so the local market was operating along the sea shore. Napier is a beautiful place with art deco buildings reminiscent of Miami.
